24.6 Changes

The release contains a total of 606 changesets, including approximately 750 package updates, 67 issues fixed, 80 packages or features added, 21 removed and about 9 other improvements.

The CI unit-testsuite was expanded to also cover the whole installation, including partitioning and booting into the installed system before release.

Developer visible

• shorter src. build-id and just objs to avoid hitting PATH_MAX building qt6webengine
• ISO default -sha length to 256
• new scripts/Create-Pkg to make new pkg creation even easier

Known Issues

Due to the nature of all cross compiled base install ISOs, gobject-introspection is not installed by default and some packages need to be natively, locally rebuilt for some advanced gnome-desktop packages.
